Overview
Corporate organizations in Uganda are required to register for a Tax Identification Number (TIN) with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). This number is necessary for tax compliance and financial reporting.
Steps to Follow
- Visit the URA web portal at www.ura.go.ug.
- Select e-Services and choose TIN registration - Non-individual.
- Fill out the required details for the business entity including name, registration number, address, and directors.
- Generate and download the filled TIN form.
- Submit the completed form and attachments to the URA office for verification.

- Certificate of incorporation
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Director's valid IDs
- Business registration form (TIN application)
Processing Time
The corporate TIN is usually issued within 2–5 business days after submission and successful verification.
